AI Music has no Soul

This is a fact

If there is money to be made you better believe that the robots want to collect it. Nowhere is this more evident than in the arts. Specifically: music. Knowing that this art form has the power to affect human emotions makes it a valuable target. Not by claiming it. But by emulating it. By developing formulas for success that can be created instantly and duplicated until the end of time.

This is a troublesome thought. Musicians and songwriters are now in competition with AI derived music. The algorithms that control the distribution and broadcasting of music are also under its spell.

As someone who loves music from my youth, I am worried that an AI version of Sade will appear one day. Perhaps after she is gone. Recorded music has value. Treasure it.

There is nothing artificial about your intelligence.
