There is just something about vintage tech. Especially the first generation of computers. Before we knew about the importance of aesthetics. Most of the design inspiration seemed to come from sci fi movies and renderings created by real human concept artists. I suppose that’s why there’s so much affinity for chunky buttons and bold colours. How it felt was just as important as what it did for us.

We used to tell computers what to do. Now it seems that we are moving towards a future where it will be falling the shots. Most are afraid to be left behind. That fear is what drives a growing global dependance on AI art. By sharing an AI video you become the tool. Pollinating soulless retellings of our History and culture.

But that’s not the full trick. The real deception is when the pay models kick in. And those who do not know how to think for themselves will be forced to (literally) pay for it.
